You meet someone online. She's terrific. He wants exactly the same things in a relationship than you do. You've spoken on the phone and the conversation lasted for hours. But you haven't met in person yet ... because you live thousands of miles apart. Is there any point in pursuing this online relationship? Yes and no.
Whether or not a long distance relationship is a good idea depends entirely on the two people in the relationship and the things that each seek from a relationship. Sometimes it works out but if you are separated it very hard to keep up because remember you are in one country and the other person is in another country. It's better to date people right from your community they are easier to reach or make contact with.
